Barrow St Paul

Location: Abbey Road/Hawcoat Lane, Barrow in Furness
Description: A parish of about 12,000 in attractive outer area of Barrow. The church building is of Victorian Gothic style, constructed in local sandstone, with leaded stained glass windows, and high-pitched slate roof. The original building was dedicated in 1871, extended in 1967 and reordered in 2006, and now incorporates a large, comfortable, welcoming lounge area, extensive multi-purpose area, meeting rroms, well-equipped kitchen, church office and toilets. Most areas are wheel-chair friendly.
