Stapleton St Mary

Location: Stapleton Church is approximately 13 miles north/north east of Carlisle, and is well sign posted, where you turn right from the main road which carries on to Roadhead. Stapleton Church is on the signpost a distance of 1/2 mile. Turn right again over a cattle grid, this tarmac road leads down to the church where there is a small car park.
Description: Entrance is through wrought iron gates. Access is on the level so is quite suitable for the disabled. A small porch as you enter the church has recently been decorated, and central heating installed, so it is very well maintained. It is quite spaceous seating approximately 150 with a central aisle and also room at the sides of the pews on each side. There is an electric ogan, and a resident organist, who is always in attendance at each service. There are also toilet facilities.
1st Sunday: 10.00 am Morning Prayer or Holy Communion (refreshments are available at the family services, and are held monthly)
2nd Sunday: 10.00 am Morning Prayer or Holy Communion
3rd Sunday: 10.00 am Morning Prayer or Holy Communion
4th Sunday: 10.00 am Morning Prayer or Holy Communion
5th Sunday: United Benefice Service in one of the churches of the benefice.
