| Description: |
St Michael’s is a friendly, lively church at the heart of this beautiful, historic village. Our worship incorporates a rich variety of styles to reflect modern tastes and our Anglican heritage. We have a strong sense of community and are committed to learning together how to live out the Christian life in the modern world. Children and families are welcomed to every service with something provided for them every Sunday. With our situation by Hadrian’s Wall we are used to welcoming visitors and promise a warm welcome to all.
In addition to our Sunday worship, we also have various midweek groups including a fellowship group (Monday nights), and 'the Hub' a women’s fellowship (Tuesday mornings in term time).
St Michael’s is part of the wider benefice of Barony of Burgh which also incorporates Aikton, Kirkandrews on Eden with Beaumont and Grinsdale, Great Orton and Kirkbampton.
