Situated prominently in the heart of the village. |
| Description: |
St Mary’s is an exceptionally friendly family church at the heart of this beautiful, historic village. Our worship incorporates a rich variety of styles to reflect modern tastes and our Anglican heritage. We have a strong sense of community and are committed to learning together how to live out the Christian life in the modern world. Children and families are always welcome with a play corner provided at every service and a family service once each month. With our situation right on top of Hadrian’s Wall, this unique and beautiful village church is very popular with visitors and we promise a warm welcome to all.
St Mary’s is part of the wider benefice of Barony of Burgh which also incorporates Aikton, Burgh-by-Sands, Great Orton and Kirkbampton.
