Sebergham St Mary

Location: A mile down a lane off the road from Wigton to Penrith: after crossing the Caldew River, as the road climbs out of the valley, follow the signpost to Churchtown on the left hand side. The church is directly on the Cumbria Way and invites walkers to pause for refreshment and prayer.
Description: This simple building is an ancient structure, thought to be from the 13th century, consisting of chancel, nave and tower (added 1825) with one bell.
