Carlisle St Elisabeth

Location: Arnside Rd, Harraby CA1 3QA. St. Elisabeth's is situated at the heart of the community of Harraby, at the top of Pennine Way. If travelling from further afield, find Eastern Way (Carlisle Ring Road), turn into Arnside Road, then immediate right into Mayfield Ave. and right again into the church car park.
Description: We are a welcoming church with warm, spirit-filled worship. Our mission is 'to become a family, where our love for Jesus inspires our worship, our care for one another and our service in the community'. Our main Eucharist is on Sunday mornings at 10.30am and the service usually lasts an hour. On the first Sunday of the month this changes to a 'Prayer and Praise' service, which is less formal and particularly attractive to children and the young at heart. We serve refreshments after services - please do come and join us! Within the Parish we offer lots of activites and teaching for all ages. We meet regularly for social events, including parish walks and strolls. We provide opportunities to study the bible together and learn more about our faith, including holding a Prayer Breakfast once a month. In the wider community we also have links with local schools.
