Location: NY 230 194A
Description: Earliest reference to a chapel at Newlands is c1576. The present building which has white roughcast finish, dates to 1845, with major internal refurbishment following in 1885. The adjoining schoolroom - closed in 1967 is now refurbished, and used for church and community activities including the serving of afternoon teas etc to walkers and other visitors on summer Sunday afternoons. There is disabled access, loop system and toilet facilities.
1st Sunday: 11.15 am Holy Communion. Alternate monthly between BCP and CW.
3rd Sunday: 11.15 am Morning Prayer. Alternate monthly between BCP and CW.
5th Sunday: 11.00 am and 6.00 pm. Benefice services rotate around the five churches within the benefice.
