Holme St Cuthbert

Location: 5 miles south of Abbey Town, 6 miles north of Allonby, 6 miles south of Silloth, and a mile and quarter from teh village of Mawbray.
Description: Holme St Cuthbert Church was built in 1845 in the Gothic style. It became a separate ecclesiastical parish in 1857. The Church is the only place of worship in the Parish and is open daily. It has been described as "a place of calm in a very busy world."
