Discovering Faith Matters

‘Discovering Faith Matters’- Study materials for homegroups

'Discovering Faith Matters’ (DFM) provides materials on CD for small groups to print and use for exploring a wide range of aspects of the Christian faith in an informal way.

Courses/Modules 1 & 2 are now available for groups to use!

Module 1 :  ‘What is the Bible and how do we use it?’ (looking at how the Bible was compiled, its authority, and how we use it in everyday life).

Module 2(NEW!) :  ‘The Bible – A Love Story’ (exploring the overarching story of God’s relationship with us, his people - from Genesis to the new creation).

‘Discovering Faith Matters’ is a programme which is being written by an ecumenical team (Anglican, Methodist and URC), especially for Cumbria.  Each module has five sessions of 1½ hours.

It will be possible to do as many modules as you like, and in any order.  The third module is being written now and will look at what it means to be a worshipping community, and how to deepen our experience of worship.

If you would like to order a CD containing both modules 1 & 2, contact:  Revd Ruth Crossley, The Vicarage, Vicarage Road, Levens, Kendal LA8 8PY email:  cme@carlislediocese.org.uk, Tel: 01539560223. There is no set charge for the material but we would ask for a donation from course members at the end of the course.
