Resources for Ministers

St John's Nottingham is a multi-purpose resource for thological education supporting the mission and ministry of the Church.  We are committed to resourcing and equipping those in Christian ministry through training, theological stimulation, refreshment and reflection.

We offer:

  • In service Study Weeks providing the opportunities to study issues of particular interest - youth ministry, spiritual direction, postmodernity, a biblical book, and many others.
  • Personal Retreats giving space to listen to God, to reflect, read and plan away from pressures of the parish.
  • Skills Development Ministers and other full-time christian workers are welcome to spend their study leave on campus, sharing in worship and making use of all our resources, tutors, library, vidios and classes.
  • Extended study opportunities (part time or full time) leading to an MA or Postgraduate Diploma in Mission and ministry, MPhil or PhD

As the Church moves into the 21st Century it needs leaders who are continuing to grow and learn with an expanding vision of God, mission and ministry by addressing issues which face the world and the wider church.
