Advertising in The WAY
The WAY is the Diocesan Newspaper. It is published 3 times a year: Christmas, Easter, and Summer. The circulation is about 24,000 - it goes free to all Church of England worshippers in the county of Cumbria, distributed through Churches.
Our current advertising rate is £1.05 per sq cm. Columns vary in size but the smallest width is about 8.5cm.
We reserve the right not to accept adverts, and publication of adverts does not imply endorsement of the advertiser or what is advertised.
Deadlines are usually: four weeks before Christmas, four weeks before Easter, end of May

Advertising in The NEWS
The NEWS is the Diocesan monthly news-sheet. Typically, Parishes buy copies of the NEWS and include them in their Parish Magazines. The circulation is about 19,000; it costs 3.4p per copy, with post and packing extra.
We accept small adverts from Parishes and Organisations in the Diocese and wider Church. There is no charge to Parishes and local organisations for advertising.

The deadline for each issue is the first day of the preceding month: eg for December, 1st Nov; for January, 1st December; for February, 1st January; etc

Advertising in The Directory
The Directory is a book listing clergy, parishes, and diocesan organisations etc It is published annually. The circulation is about 500; it costs £4 per copy, with post and packing extra, but is given free to all serving clergy in the Diocese.
This important publication "sits on the desks" of those with purchasing power in the Church of England in Cumbria for a whole year.
The cost of adverts reflects this impact - an inside quarter page in colour costs £80, and a half page £125.
