Orders of Service (Liturgy)

Useful links

Liturgy is a useful site (sponsored by Praxis) for those interested in Liturgical matters

Downloads

Please find below downloads relating to the new Diocesan liturgy for a new ministry, including a useful checklist done by John Woolcock, RD of Calder Deanery (thank you to John for this).

NB the idea is that those preparing such services will download the draft and "customise it" according to their situation, including hymns chosen etc - using the Notes, and the Example

NB collections at Diocesan services (Confirmations, Inductions, Ordinations etc) now all go into the Diocesan Growth Fund.  (Donations, more generally, for the Growth Fund are gratefully received; we have now built up a capital sum, and grants for projects which may lead to growth are made from the interest on it.  If you would like to know more about making a bid for a grant from the Growth Fund, please speak to the Diocesan Secretary.)
