We exist as a church to lead people of all ages into a living relationship with Jesus Christ and to help each person to live every day with him and for him.

The church, built in 1878, is a unique example of the work of the Pre-Raphaelites. This is the only church built by the architect Philip Webb and it has a complete set of stained glass windows designed by Sir Edward Burne-Jones and manufactured by William Morris.  The church family would like to have more impact in the community through children and youth work in particular.

We exist as a church to lead people of all ages into a living relationship with Jesus Christ and to help each person to live every day with him and for him.

The church comprises Nave and Chancel with a substantial Bell Tower and a vestry to the north side and a porch to the south.  There is a Norman arched entrance doorway protected by the porch.  The tower is probably of Norman origin.  The church is built in local red sandstone.

The early structure has been heavily remodelled in the Victorian period.
