New Hutton
In the centre of New Hutton Village close to the Village Hall (Institute). New Hutton is just off the A684, 3 miles from J37 of M6 in one direction and 3 miles from Kendal in the other. New Hutton can also be reached by turning off the B6254

A small, friendly and welcoming village church with a mix of traditional and contemporary worship and a range of social activities through the year.

A small, limestone rubble building dating from 1828.  It has a simple layout consisting of a nave without aisles but with a small extension to the east to form a semi-circular chancel and small alcove sanctuary with an east window by H Gustave Miller.  The church has a western gallery and upper room. The church building stands above the village skyline.

6.30pm A Service of Light(4.00pm during winter months)

10.00am Coffee & Cake (a café style gathering where we eat cake, have a drink and worship and reflect together – suitable for all ages) 

10.00am Joint services with the five churches in the Helm Group, venue varies – contact Rev Canon Angela Whittaker 015395 60355.

Old Hutton
In the centre of Old Hutton village on the Kendal to Kirkby Lonsdale Road (B62540) 3 miles from Kendal.

A small friendly and welcoming village church with a mix of traditional and special services and a strong link with our local primary school.

A small, stone built church with slate roof and semi-circular chancel. Although condemned architecturally by Pevsner, the interior of the church is charming and welcoming. The vestry screen and lectern are by Arthur Simpson and the organ is by Wilkinsons of Kendal and is still in good working order.

11.00am Holy Communion

9.30am Morning Prayer

9.30am Holy Communion

6.30pm Evensong (4.00pm during winter months)
