Resources to support families at home

What’s this and who’s it for?

A list of helpful links to support:

  • people who are home-schooling their children during the coronavirus outbreak;
  • people who want to offer some educational, fun activities to their children during a period of isolation.
  • Most of the sites and links below are aimed at children in early years and primary settings, however some are suitable for young people and for entire families.

Are the resources free?

  • Most of the resources here are free. A few offer free trials for a period before asking you to pay for a subscription.

Can I help?

  • Please share this list with any friends, family or colleagues you think may find it helpful.
  • We will update the list with further links – please return to see updates.
  • If you have success with any activity, consider sharing what you did on social media – friends, family and colleagues could then have a go too!
  • Carlisle Diocese would love to see what you do – please consider tweeting @carlisleDBE
