Come and lead us on our exciting journey with God, growing his Kingdom in the beautiful setting of the Lake District gem town of Cockermouth and surrounding area.

The Team has two towns and two village churches, with a combined Electoral Roll of 250. We have a Team Vicar, four readers, three retired clergy, and several lay ministers, including two ordinands.

The Grasmoor Mission Community includes a further seven Anglican Churches, two Methodist Churches and a United Reformed Church, and covers Cockermouth and nearbyvillages.

To lead us, sharing our hope in God, you need to be:

    • a prayerful, confident, visionary, enthusiastic and collegiate leader
    • alive in Jesus, Spirit-filled, and grounded in Scripture
    • able to foster our ecumenical partnerships and engage with local communities, both civic and rural.

Please look at the Carlisle Diocese and God for All websites for more information on Mission Communities and for the full Parish Profile.

    Closing date:Sun 15 March 2020

    Interview dates:Tues 21 and Wed 22 April 2020
