    The Diocese of Carlisle is looking for an

    Assistant Diocesan Safeguarding Officer

    To be based in Penrith who will

    • Manage a caseload responding to, assessing, and managing safeguarding concerns or allegations
    • Support the development of safeguarding arrangements, good practice, policy, and training.
    • Support the DSO with the implementation of the Parish Safeguarding Dashboard.
    • Ensure those who pose a risk are appropriately supported and managed.

    This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week, however, we welcome discussion around part time working.

    Salary: £39,284 FTE + 15% non-contributory pension (pro rata based on 35-hour week).

    This post will require an Enhanced DBS check.
