- Engage church officers to support the development of safeguarding arrangements, good practice, policy, and training across the diocese of Carlisle.
- Provide advice, guidance and support to parishes to implement the Parish Safeguarding Dashboard and Safeguarding Hub systems.
- Deliver safeguarding training.
- Respond to low level safeguarding concerns and maintain accurate records.

Safeguarding Support & Engagement Officer

This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week, however, we welcome discussion around part time working.
Salary: £34,000 FTE + 15% non-contributory pension (pro rata based on 35-hour week).
This post will require an Enhanced DBS check.
