Anna Chaplaincy

Anna Chaplaincy – a ministry of the Christian charity BRF – has been established specifically to provide spiritual care among older people, especially those living in care homes and sheltered accommodation, and to their families and the staff that look after them. Anna Chaplains also promote the spiritual welfare of older people in the wider community, particularly those facing challenges living independently.

There are now 12 + Anna Chaplains located across Cumbria, working in teams with Anna Friends and other volunteers: please contact the Anna Chaplaincy Lead for more information, or your local churches to find out whether any Anna Chaplains serve in your community. Every Anna Chaplain is appointed by, and accountable to, a local church/group of churches.
