Directions to offices
Our diocesan offices are situated in Penrith just a few minutes off the M6 and easily accessible by road and rail. Diocesan staff moved into this new office in May 2016.

To get there by road
From the north and south:
Drive along the M6 and exit at junction 40. Follow the A66 towards Brough. At the first roundabout (where Penrith Fire Station is located) turn left onto the A6 Bridge Lane. Follow this until you approach a Marks and Spencer store on the right. Just before this turn right onto Old London Road. Follow this road round into Friargate. The diocesan offices are on the left.
From the east:
Follow the A66 towards Penrith. At the Kemplay Bank roundabout (where Penrith Fire Station is located) turn right onto the A6 Bridge Lane. Follow this until you approach a Marks and Spencer store on the right. Just before this turn right onto Old London Road. Follow this road round into Friargate. The diocesan offices are on the left.
From the west:
Follow the A66 towards Penrith. At the Kemplay Bank roundabout (where Penrith Fire Station is located) turn leftt onto the A6 Bridge Lane. Follow this until you approach a Marks and Spencer store on the right. Just before this turn right onto Old London Road. Follow this road round into Friargate. The diocesan offices are on the left.
Parking
There are no dedicated parking spaces at Church House. On-street parking (time-restricted with parking discs which are available from Church House reception) is available in the immediate area, allowing a maximum of two hours parking. There are also a number of pay and display car parks nearby at:
Access to the Diocesan Office
Reception is on the first floor of Church House. If the door is locked then please press the intercom button and reception will buzz you into the building.
