The expectation is that the Basic and Foundation modules will be completed online via the Church of England Safeguarding Training Portal.

However, we understand that people may not always be able to access training online and therefore we have now trained volunteers within the diocese to deliver this training face to face. If you need the Basic and Foundation delivering at a local level, please contact our Safeguarding Administration inbox to request assistance and we will be able to put you in touch with one of our registered trainers: safeguarding.administration@carlislediocese.org.uk.
