St. Aidan’s Cumbria exists to see God’s Kingdom come in Cumbria as it is in heaven. We are a growing contemporary, charismatic and evangelical Anglican church in the northern Lake District, committed to following Jesus, building Christian community, and contending for revival.

We are seeking an Operations Manager to help develop and manage the systems, structures and organisational foundations that will enable our mission to flourish. Working closely with the Vicar, Trustees and Leadership Team, you will oversee key areas including finance, administration, governance and compliance, helping ensure the church is healthy, sustainable and ready for future growth.

This is an exciting opportunity to join St. Aidan’s in a formative season. As we continue to grow, develop new leaders and plant new churches and Christian communities across Cumbria, this role will play a vital part in creating the operational capacity that makes mission possible.

This is a part-time position with potential to increase in future year, externally funded initially until 2030.

Location: Derwent Deanery, Cumbria
Hours: 21 hours per week (0.6 FTE), with the potential to increase in future years
Salary: £31,795 (£19,077 pro rata) plus 15% non-contributory pension 
Term: Externally funded initially until 2030.
Pension: 15% employer contribution (Church of England Pension Board scheme)

Occupational Requirement: This post is subject to an occupational requirement that the postholder be a practising Christian under Part 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
