    Benefice of St Mark, Barrow in Furness

    St Mark’s Barrow is a town-centre evangelical Anglican church in the heart of the town of Barrow in Furness.


    We are seeking a Minister who will help us play our part in a wider vison for church planting and revitalisation, ‘The Cumbrian Way’.


    We are looking for:

    A Christ-centered, outward-focused clergy person who will build on our
    continuing ministry to the poorest in the town.

    Who has a track record of mission and evangelism, Church leadership and
    engagement with the wider community.

    Who will work with colleagues to help deliver the Rising Faith Barrow
    Programme as part of the ‘Cumbrian Way’.

    Who will develop a strategy for town centre chaplaincy in Barrow.

    This is a full-time stipendiary post (£34,950 from April 2026)
