St John's parish was extended in February 2013 to include the Botcherby area and its Mission Church St Andrew's. The Church building has recently been completely renovated and re-ordered with new heating system, kitchen, disability toilet, flexible seating and cinema equipment/sound system.  There is a notice board outside the church showing what events are going on.

  • Botcherby Brew

Botcherby Brew is open each week on a Thursday from 11am until 1pm at St Andrew’s Church.

Botcherby Brew first opened in 2023 and is a place where members of the local community can gather to meet new people, chat and enjoy a cuppa and bowl of soup or other snacks in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

All drinks and snacks are provided free of charge to everyone who attends, although a donations pot is placed towards the back of church with the aim of recovering the costs of all supplies. Botcherby Brew does not aim to make any profits.

Soup and a roll is generally served between 12:00 and 12:30 although timings may vary. Cups of tea and coffee with biscuits and other snacks are served throughout the session. In the summer months, soup may be replaced with more seasonal light refreshments.

Special dietary needs or food allergies should be communicated to volunteer staff on arrival (or prior to attending). Well behaved dogs are welcome and encouraged to come along! Occasionally puppy snacks are available.

Every Thursday at 11 a.m. for 120 minutes
