Each PCC is required to submit two annual returns to the Church of England’s national Statistics Unit, completing on-line forms which cover the finances and mission statistics for the previous year.
The data gathered is incredibly helpful for the national church, and the diocese, to see how attendance figures, and church finances are changing over time. Your own local data is also available online to yourselves, and can be a helpful way of monitoring the history and changes in your own churches.
Typically, the forms for the previous year have to be submitted online by 31 January (mission statistics) and 31 May (finance return).
