Epiphany
“When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh”. Matthew 2:10-11
We all know we should talk to our churches regularly about giving, but it can be challenging to know how or when to do this. Epiphany is a great opportunity to consider running a small stewardship programme, as we reflect on the Magi’s joy, worship, and the way their giving flowed naturally from grateful hearts as they encountered the baby Christ. The resources below include a simple giving letter and finance leaflet you can use to encourage your church to reflect on their own stewardship response this Christmas.
