St Mary'S Church, Allithwaite, LA117RD
Welcome to St Mary's Allithwaite!
We're always delighted to welcome you to our regular gatherings, Sundays at 9.30 for singing, praying, learning from the Bible, sharing the bread and wine of communion and lots of chatting over coffee afterwards.
St May's has comfortable chairs, we mostly lead worship from a screen, and have a resident worship band and young people's activities.
St Mary's is a great venue for a wedding or Christening, and makes a fitting place to remember loved ones who have died, in a funeral service.
The view across 'The Bay' outside is breathtaking.
"The parish of Allithwaite: St Mary is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Carlisle’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
